At the meeting, Council directed Staff to proceed with community engagement and consultation.

Maddock & Wascana - Storm Drain, Sanitary and Water Utility Upgrades

We are replacing storm drain mains, sanitary mains and water mains on Wascana from Obed Avenue to Burnside Road West, with additional works on Maddock Avenue, Qu'Appelle Street, and Davin Street. Work will take place from November 2025 until Mid-July 2026.

Reynolds Road Storm Sewer, Watermain, and Road Safety Upgrades

The District of Saanich will be undertaking a storm drain main and watermain upgrade project on Reynolds Road and Lasalle Street.

Shelbourne Street Improvements Project

We are building improved infrastructure on Shelbourne Street from North Dairy Road to Torquay Drive as part of the Shelbourne Street Improvements Project.

Rutledge Road Watermain Replacement

The District of Saanich will be undertaking utility upgrades on Rutledge Street between Tolmie Avenue and 3245 Rutledge. The scope of work includes the replacement of existing watermain infrastructure. All service connections and fire hydrants will be replaced as well.
