Construction was completed on time and the road will be opened the morning of August 25, 2026. Thank you to everyone for your support and patience through the construction process. Many rotten components have been replace to ensure continued safe use of the stucture.

June 22, 2026
Construction preparation is well underway. A road closure has been approved for August 17 to August 27, 2026 so that the bridge can be lifted in place. Please be respectful of signs and construction fencing around the site.

Test Right Rigging has been engaged to construct the repairs.
Construction Timing
Construction is anticipated to occur mid August 2026, to align with low water levels and environmental regulations. The contractor will provide a construction notification to impacted residents prior to the start of construction.

Project Information
The bridge over Todd Creek at Goward Road requires repair. The pile tops, exterior timber stringers and railing system are deteriorating and will be replaced to ensure continued operation of the bridge.
