Kathleen Street Storm Drain Upgrade Project

What’s happening?

Saanich is upgrading its storm drain on Kathleen St. between 3680 and 3700 Kathleen St.

Why are we doing this?

The existing storm drain is in poor condition due to its age and will be replaced.

Construction Impacts

During active digging, Kathleen St. will be closed to through traffic at the project location. Work will be done to minimize access concerns to residents and local traffic. The road will be reopened at the end of each day.

Some properties may have their driveway inaccessible for a short period of time. Crews will notify residents of these occasions and will accommodate any access concerns.

Project Timeline

Construction is happening during March 2026 and will be completed in April 2026.
