Prospect Lake Road Culvert Replacement

What’s happening?

Saanich has replaced the culvert on Prospect Lake Road near 4431 Prospect Lake Road.

Why are we doing this?

The existing culvert was replaced to improve drainage along the roadway and through Trevlac Brook.

Construction Impacts

For most of construction Prospect Lake Rd was closed to all traffic near 4431 Prospect Lake Rd. Prospect Lake Road is now open to through traffic. Some work is still to be completed with single lane alternating traffic.

Construction will involve removal of the existing culvert, installation of a new larger culvert, and road restoration.

Project Timeline

The road closure began on August 18, 2025 and lasted until September 9, 2025.
