Roy Road Storm and Sanitary Upgrades

Project update

Roy Road at Carey Road will be closed to vehicles in both directions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14 to allow crews to complete paving work.

Single-lane alternating traffic will be in place on Carey Road near the raised intersection at Roy Road while the work is underway.

Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are asked to follow traffic-control signage and allow extra time when travelling through the area.

A roadside sign advising of the closure will be installed on Roy Road beginning Thursday, October 8.

The District recognizes the inconvenience this work may have caused and appreciates the residents for their continued patience and cooperation throughout this essential infrastructure upgrade.
