Tattersall Drive - Storm, Sewer, & Water Upgrades

What’s happening?

The existing watermains, sanitary sewers, and storm drains on Tattersall Drive between Quadra St and Salsbury Way are being replaced. A small section of storm drain will also be replaced on Kathleen Street.

Why are we doing this?

The existing water, sewer, and drain are being replaced due to their poor condition and to age.

Construction Impacts

During construction, Tattersall Dr will be closed to through traffic. Sections of Tattersall Dr will be open to local traffic as crews make their way along the road.

The pedestrian light at Rock Street and Quadra Street has been programed to automatically turn red periodically during construction hours to help drivers turning off Rock St.

Some properties will have their driveway inaccessible for a short period of time. Crews will notify residents of these occasions and try to accommodate any access concerns.

Project Timeline

The water, storm and sanitary portion of the project are now complete and full road and boulevard restoration is underway. The road reopening is scheduled for the end of the day Friday June 27th, 2025.
